Q. Am I too old/young to learn how to box?
A: Our current members range from ages 16 to 74.

Q. Is boxing safe?
A: Training for boxing is very safe however, it should be noted that it does include some high level exercise which some people may find a little hard on the joints. Sparring (actual boxing) is a full contact activity and therefore runs the potential risk of injury. It is entirely optional and by no means essential to your workout.

Q. Why is boxing such a good workout?
A: The boxing workout is a complete body workout that combines aerobic exercise with calisthenics; this complete combination is rarely found in other sports. This combination of training is the best way for the human body to “find” its own natural balance and weight. Once achieved, your body weight, muscle tone, metabolism and energy levels will all change to be where they should be.

Q. Do I need to be in good shape to start training?
A: Before they start, many of our new members have had no formal exercise training and most are pretty out of shape. Regardless of your fitness level we can get you started! Just remember, when beginning any exercise program, we recommend you consult your doctor first.

Q. How do I properly wrap my hands?
